A bike made of plastic that can transport generations of people: At the Hannover Messe, igus presented a groundbreaking concept for an urban bike – maintenance-free, without lubricants, and sustainably produced from recycled plastic. With its expertise in plastics for motion, igus is making the concept and many components available to all bicycle manufacturers on the new igus:bike platform. The first model should be available at the end of 2022.
